The training courses we commonly refer to as “UDT training” are those that conclude with an examination before the qualification commission of the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT). 

Forklift operator courses have been the most popular choice on the market in recent years. Following closely are the courses for mobile elevating work platforms, also known as aerial work platforms or cherry pickers. These courses are frequently used by workers on construction sites.

UDT Training Courses – Who is it for?

Who can apply for UDT qualifications? Primarily, operators of close-range transport equipment who work with forklifts, elevating work platforms, cranes, overhead cranes, or stationary cranes. Warehouse workers, production hall employees, and logistics company staff who work with transport equipment or lifting devices and want to enhance their qualifications are also eligible. Additionally, construction and structural workers can also complete UDT training since they operate equipment that requires technical supervision.

UDT Training at the WELDER Training Center

Below, you will find a list of most of the training courses we offer. We conduct UDT training in the operation and maintenance of various equipment, including:

Overhead cranes, hoists, and winches (general and specialized purpose) (e.g., Crane Operator Course) 
Signalman for lifting hooks 
Safe gas cylinder exchange on forklifts 
Workshop stationary cranes 
Forklift trucks, excluding specialized ones, as well as including specialized ones such as telehandlers (e.g., Forklift Operator Courses) 
Mobile elevating work platforms (including scissor lifts, telescopic lifts, self-propelled lifts, and transportable platforms, e.g., Aerial Work Platform Operator Courses) 
Mobile cranes, also known as HDS (Hydraulic Loaders)
